THE PRECIOUS THINGS are a live, five-piece band providing high energy entertainment for wedding receptions, private parties, clubs and corporate functions in North East England and beyond.

We offer a personal, professional service and work with you, from the moment you book, to help plan your event. Despite this, our pricing is extremely competitive.

We select music from our wide repertoire of rock, pop, disco and funk covers to suit your party. Our live music is guaranteed to be 100% live and you can listen to a selection of seven songs here:  OUR MUSIC . 

The band's dress code will be appropriate for the function and we can provide a range of stage lights, backdrops and dance floor lighting.

We can supply your choice of properly mixed, prerecorded background and dance  music for our breaks, professional announcements and a full MC service for more formal events.

Our crew will set up the performance area to the highest safety standards before guests arrive and we carry full public liability insurance cover. The band works with at least one experienced sound and lighting technician at every engagement.

THE PRECIOUS THINGS have been entertaining audiences of all ages at functions and parties in and around the NE region since 2004.

We have built up a reputation for excellent musicianship, top quality live sound, professional customer service and great stage presence. The band is at home playing at weddings, civil partnership celebrations, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Christmas, anniversary and birthday parties, sports and social clubs, armed forces and hotel events and other private and corporate functions.
